Everything has a market in the world. You can export a variety of stuff from India. Did you know India’s biggest foreign income is from sales of petroleum products and not agriculture goods? Well you can export almost anything, the key is being able to do that. So when you are thinking of exporting any product, follow these steps

1. Select a Market which you are most comfortable working with. Dont trade with a country where you cannot travel. Find out the country’s economy what does it import? Find out the population so that you know the size and volumes of growth in future. e.g. You cannot sell anything in vatican as its a small country.
2. Once your market selection is done, you shall know what do they import. Then once you have the details, you can contact the embassy in India and meet their commercial attache or email their chamber of commerce (you can google for their emails) and ask them list of potential importers and their products.
3. Next step would be to have your own skill set to export that product from India and developing the expertise. You also need to have commercial viability.
4. Contact these buyers, offer your products and see how it does.
