(1)外貿(mào)業(yè)務(wù)
Foreign trade businessman
首先是性格上適合這個方向，因為國外的采購都喜歡和好說話，開朗的人交往，這是肯定的。但是我不相信性格能確定一切，做業(yè)務(wù)更重要的是毅力和心態(tài)，有單也好沒單也好，心態(tài)一定要放平穩(wěn)。做這個職業(yè)壓力也很大，但是一旦做下去了，必須要有個幾年時間才能有一定的客戶資源。如果要成為一個出色的外貿(mào)業(yè)務(wù)，你的英語要相當(dāng)流利，對產(chǎn)品一定要很熟悉專業(yè)，注重細(xì)節(jié)，最好是熟悉別人的文化。
First your characteristic should be fit for it as foreigners are more likely to do business with people who are talkative and outgoing. But I don’t believe that characteristic could decide everything, because perseverance and attitude are the most important things of doing business. Attitude must be smooth whether there is an order or not. This is a job with high pressure, for it takes several years to get customers resources once you decide to do it. If you want to be an excellent foreign trader, you must be very good at oral English and be familiar and professional with your products, knowing all the details and you’d better be familiar with the culture of your customers.
(2)高級外貿(mào)跟單Senior merchandiser
這個職位主要是找到客戶后，從新產(chǎn)品的打樣(圖紙，技術(shù)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和資料的中英文翻譯，定期和客戶進行技術(shù)問題的討論，讓工程和客戶之間有很好的聯(lián)系溝通，報價)---定單下來后的審單，合同評審，和大貨跟單，并定期和客戶討論定單交期和其他問題，甚至包括后期的和貨代聯(lián)系，并更新電腦系統(tǒng)的記錄資料?？梢哉f這樣的工作是偏向于企業(yè)管理+客戶服務(wù)的方面，要求的技術(shù)能力比較高，對英語要求更是比較高。
The main duty of this position is to do the series work after the new products’ proofing have been decided (drawings, technology standard and information of Chinese and English translation, discus technology problem with customer regularly, keep good communication between engineering and customer). The duties including the Examination of documents, contract review, orders following-up, delivery and other problems discussion with customers regularly, connecting forwarder, and update computer systems record information. We could say that this work is more like a business management + customer service with a higher technical proficiency and English requirement.
(3)高級單證Senior documentary secretary
這個職位至少要求要懂得FOB，CIF這兩種貿(mào)易條件下的操作，空運，海運，電放等運輸方式的操作。最好是還要懂得進口的操作。有報檢員證，報關(guān)員證，能報關(guān)更好。整個外貿(mào)單證流程能全部一個人操作，甚至包括結(jié)匯，核銷，退稅。這樣的人做單證主管在大企業(yè)福利待遇是很不錯的哦。
In this position, at least you should know the process of FOB and CIF, also the process of air transportation, sea transportation, telex release and operation of other transport ways. Besides, you’d better know some process of import and it would be better if you have inspection certificate and Certificate of Customs declaration and be able to finish the whole process all by your own, even the settlement of exchange, verification and tax refund. You could get a good salary and welfare if you are a documentation supervisor in a big company.
