出差在外應(yīng)入鄉(xiāng)隨俗，那么，去日本有哪些要注意的呢？
“一般性文化注意事項(xiàng)“”(General Cultural Tips)有6項(xiàng)：
（1） When entering a Japanese home, it is customary to remove shoes and position them facing the door. Follow your host's example （進(jìn)日本人家里的時(shí)候，一般來說要脫鞋，將鞋尖對(duì)著門口的方向，可模仿主人的動(dòng)作）。
（2） Most Japanese people avoid direct eye contact during conversations（大部分日本人在談話間避免與對(duì)方目光對(duì)視）。
（3）If using chopsticks, avoid using them to point at someone and do not leave them sticking up in a bowl of rice（使用筷子吃飯時(shí)，不要用筷子指人，也不要把筷子插在米飯碗里）。
（4）Only ask people about their spouse or children if you are sure your conversational partner is married/has children. Asking unmarried people about a spouse or childless people about children may embarrass a Japanese person（在于日本人交談時(shí)，只有你肯定對(duì)方已經(jīng)結(jié)婚并有孩子的情況下才可問及對(duì)方的配偶和孩子。如果向沒有結(jié)婚或沒有生育的人問侯配偶和孩子會(huì)讓日本人感到尷尬）。
（5）It is customary to bring chocolate, cookies or cakes when invited to a Japanese home. Purchasing them in a department store where they will be wrapped is recommended（如果被邀請(qǐng)到日本人家做客，一般可以帶巧克力、餅干或者糕點(diǎn)作為禮物。最好在大型超市購買禮物，并且包裝）。
（6）The Japanese do not usually open gifts when they are presented（給日本人送禮時(shí)，日本人一般不會(huì)當(dāng)面拆開禮物）。
“商務(wù)文化注意事項(xiàng)“”(Business Cultural Tips)有8項(xiàng)：
（1）The Japanese are accustomed to shaking hands upon greeting, though bowing is traditional and sometimes used as well. If your are bowed to, return the gesture by bowing either to the same depth or lower - the depth of your bow is indicative of the status relationship between you and your counterpart（鞠躬是日本人見面打招呼的傳統(tǒng)習(xí)慣，但也習(xí)慣于握手。如果對(duì)方向你鞠躬，你也要向?qū)Ψ骄瞎?，深度?yīng)與對(duì)方相當(dāng)或者稍微深一些——因?yàn)榫瞎纳疃葮?biāo)志著你與對(duì)方在地位上的差別）。
（2）Consider using the honorific suffix san when addressing people when introduced: Mr. or Ms. Yamada can be addressed as Yamada-san（與日本人見面時(shí)使用敬體，比如與山田先生或者山田女生見面時(shí)應(yīng)該稱對(duì)方為“山田?！啊保?
（3）Business cards are usually exchanged upon introductions. It is advisable to have yours printed in both English and Japanese. Use both hands to both present and receive cards. Read the card carefully before putting it away（在第一次見面互相介紹時(shí)遞上名片，名片最好是用日語和英語雙語。注意要用雙手遞，也用雙手接名片。接到名片后認(rèn)真閱讀以后，小心翼翼地收好）。
（4）Make business appointments in advance and be punctual（上午約會(huì)一定要提前確定，準(zhǔn)時(shí)抵達(dá)）。
（5）Entertainment is an important part of business arrangements and usually takes place after business hours at a bar or restaurant. Although business may be discussed, these outings are primarily occasions for building friendships（娛樂是商務(wù)交往中的重要內(nèi)容，一般是在下班時(shí)間去酒吧或者餐館。在這種場(chǎng)合雖然也可能涉及商務(wù)，但主要是建立友好關(guān)系）。
（6）Business dress is formal and conservative. Men should wear a suit and women should wear either a dress or a suit（商務(wù)穿著偏正式和保守。男人穿西服，女人也要著套裝）。
（7）Business gifts are very important in Japan. The gifts should always be wrapped and are often presented at first business meetings（商務(wù)禮品在日本非常重要。禮物必須包裝，一般在第一次見面時(shí)呈上）。
（8）Be aware that the Japanese try not to disagree openly. They may avoid saying "no" by giving an unenthusiastic "yes."（注意日本人不喜歡當(dāng)眾否決別人的意見，他們不說“不“”，但是用一個(gè)不那么堅(jiān)決和真誠的“是“”來表示“不“”的意思）。
