The NetBase NV4504-10BD/10BA/20CC video/audio/data/contact closure transmitter/receiver series utilizes 8/10-bit digital encoding and decoding for high-quality video transmission that exceeds the requirements of EIA RS-250C for Medium-Haul Video Transmission. These units provide transmission of 4-channel video and up to 10-channel Bi-directional audio or up to 10- channel Bi-directional data or up to 20-channel contact closure separately, or simultaneously transmission of video with audio, data, and contact closure over one Single-mode or Multimode optical fiber. These units are ideal for use in unconditioned roadside or out-of-plant installations. Completely transparent to and universally compatible with any NTSC, PAL, or SECAM CCTV camera system, data channel can be made to order for RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485. Audio channel can be made to order for unbalanced or balanced transmission. Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation and no electrical or optical adjustments are ever required. LED indicators are provided for rapidly ascertaining equipment operating status, and these units are available in either stand-alone or rack-mount configurations.
